My name is Shelbe Lea Van Winkle, I am a second year International Affairs and Anthropology major, with a minor in Human Services. I am currently doing an internship right now at Jiahua Language School. I am from a small town in Vermont, USA. The name of my town is Underhill, it is located in the mountains, and has about 3,000 people in it. I go to university at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I am very interested in traveling and learning about other cultures. I speak Spanish, which I learned while studying abroad in Spain, and I also speak a little French, Greek, Portuguese, and now I am learning Chinese. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, swimming, sailing, skiing, and being outdoors. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives, cultures, and how they differ from my own.
